This summer seems to be narrated by the sound of 24-hour news broadcasts. All the chatter can foster worry, confusion, and a frenetic search for something – anything – to do that will nudge our country onto the right track. Or it can cause us to give up altogether. What if the best way we can meet the moment is to really be in the moment? What if our most powerful contribution is our presence? This morning, we will spend time being present to what is within us and around us, and how best to use our unique gifts.
