We are so glad that you’re interested in learning more about Napa Valley Unitarian Universalists! We encourage you to come to our Sunday Service and get a feel for our community. Don’t hesitate to ask anyone – our greeters in the front, our Minister, and any members – if you have a question. We’re here to answer any questions you may have!

Who feels at home in a Unitarian Universalist congregation? Folks attracted to our community include:

  • Those who consider themselves “spiritual but not religious”,
  • Those interested in exploring common threads found in various faith traditions,
  • Those looking for a supportive place to consider “big” questions such as the meaning of life, death, and what it means to be human,
  • Those interested in the ways religion and spirituality intersect with morality, science, and culture,
  • Those who find their spirituality grounded in loving community, in nature, or in social justice,
  • Those who want their children to be part of a supportive, loving community where they learn about and explore different forms of spirituality and are supported in their own search for truth and meaning.

Your First Visit

Sunday Service is an important part of our congregational life. We gather for the service at 11 AM and have a Social Hour following the service. Unitarian Universalism celebrates diversity and so services vary somewhat from week to week.

Experience our Sunday services no matter where you are or what your day looks like. You can join us in person or online, using our Zoom link. We offer a virtual coffee hour after service where you’ll be able to chat with others who have joined on Zoom. And keeping your camera off is always okay!

If you are bringing children/youth for the first time, please get in touch with our Children’s RE director a few days ahead (email: dre@nvuu.org or call the office 707-226-9229).

Our church is accessible to people in wheelchairs.

Whether in-person or online, come as you are and know that you are always welcome. We can’t wait to meet you!
