“Freedom”

Freedom is a word frequently used by all of us as an aspiration–something to work towards and//or maintain. However, using that word can mask the real objectives of different groups. In this service, we’ll explore freedom: what it is, how it is misunderstood, and why it is so important to work towards the goal stated in the UUA’s 6th principle: “… World Community with Peace, Liberty, and Justice for All”.
