“Re/Imagining Gender”
with Rev. Marcia Stanard, Anne Jungerman, and Brian Shaw
One of President Trump’s first executive orders upon entering the White House was declaring that there are only two genders, and that they are fixed at the time of conception. Rev. Marcia Stanard offers a more expansive view of gender, sharing the perspectives of family members, friends, and other Trans and Non/Binary people and why recognizing folks for who they are is so important.
Rev. Marcia Stanard serves as the minister at Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Willamette Falls in Oregon City, Oregon. She’s served there for 9 1/2 years, and served two small congregations concurrently before that for 5 years. She also has the distinct pleasure of serving as Rev. Susan’s Preliminary Fellowship Mentor.
