Winter Solstice Celebration

Winter Solstice Celebration
December 21, 2023, 4:00 pm

With California Native Sal from the Pomo Nation, Rev. Susan Panttaja, and Jo Beyeler

The Winter Solstice Celebration is a longstanding tradition at NVUU. Come enjoy seasonal solstice rituals, stories, singing, and a drum circle around a roaring fire (weather permitting). Invite your friends and neighbors — all are welcome!

Everyone is encouraged to bring their own bowl, spoon, and a cup — and then, if you can, some ‘stone soup’ ingredients, breads, a side nibble or dessert, and musical instruments if you have them. If you just bring yourself, that’s fine too! Warm beverages will be provided.

Volunteers welcome for general setting up (beginning 3:00-ish) and cleanup.
